Dawson Creek is a beautiful area close to the Peace River Valley with incredible outdoor opportunities and a growing community with a strong economy. We are a client focused, community based practice that values quality of life. We have a very competent and enthusiastic team with 6 veterinarians. Our clinic is a modern, progressive mixed animal practice. We built a beautiful new practice in 2014 and the business is growing. The practice is 50% small animal, 50% large animal with a good mix of equine and cow calf. Lots of opportunity to work with beef cattle, small animals and equine patients depending upon your interest. We have a really varied and interesting case load which offers veterinarians a good opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills and we encourage our associates to pursue areas that they have special interest in. The clinic is very well equipped so there are lots of options for diagnostics and surgical and medical treatments. With a large veterinary team and exceptional support staff, there is excellent mentorship, opportunity to learn and shared call, leaving time to explore and enjoy the area. Our senior veterinarians all have different areas of special interest which provides clients with a wide range of options. We offer higher than average wages, as well as a benefit package, CE allowance and above average holiday time. Partnership opportunities available.
